Past Chapter Sponsored Projects
- The Conversation Project
The Conversation Project is dedicated to helping people talk about their wishes for end-of-life care. Too many people die in a way they wouldn't choose, and too many of their loved ones are left feeling bereaved, guilty, and uncertain. It's time to transform our culture so we shift from not talking about dying to talking about it. We believe that the place for this to begin is at the kitchen table-not in the intensive care unit-with the people we love, before it's too late.
Remedy's goal is to reduce waste by providing a mechanism for usable medical supplies that would be thrown away to be made available to organizations that can use them.
- #ICANimprovehealth Pledge-a-thon (2015)

- Our project goal was to have 5,000 students and community members pledge to take action against housing insecurity and homelessness
- The PSU & OHSU Chapter partnered with the Willamette University Chapter in this project, gathering a total of 726 pledges in the greater Portland and Salem area.
